Worship & Music

Sunday Services, 10 am

We are happy to be worshipping together again! We meet in person in the sanctuary. Masks are strongly recommended but no longer required. There is plenty of room for social distancing, which is also strongly recommended but not required. The choir wears masks.

You can also live stream the service or view it later at the same link.

The service includes thoughtful sermons and prayers, beautiful organ and choir music, hymn singing, scripture readings, and responsive readings. Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month, and all are welcome at the table. Follow the service with a printed program.

Children are welcome to sit with their parents, and crayons and Bible illustrations to color are provided.

Music  Our excellent choir includes professional soloists and church members. The choir sings a variety of musical styles, including classical music of various periods and music in the folk and African American traditions. We sometimes have guest instrumentalists, including special services twice a year in Advent and in Lent that are focused on music. Our minister of music, Dr. Andrus Madsen, plays organ, piano, and harpsichord, and is a gifted improviser.
